A mother. A sister. A friend... Keiia Avery was a beautiful soul with lots of wisdom and light to share with everyone around her. Most of all, she was a fighter. Keiia was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer in 2017, and with the help of the Lord, family, friends, and her positive mindset she was able to overcome. She was in remission by the middle of 2019. Unfortunately, her life took a devastating turn when the cancer returned aggressively abruptly in December 2019. It began in the liver and metastasized and spread to the lungs. Still... she fought. She was very positive and even in her hospital bed she looked forward to returning home to her “babies,” Bandit (cat) and Cyrus (dog). In the end, the cancer overtook her body, her organs failed, and she then released her spirit into the hands of the Lord. Unfortunately, in the midst of caring for others (her two sons Aaron Avery and Quitman Avery and her pets), she did not sign up for life insurance for herself.  Therefore, her sons and dear sister Melissa have been left with the burden of burial and funeral costs. The family only longs to give Keiia the celebration that suits her vibrant, loving personality. Furthermore, in addition to emotional support and prayers , the family is asking for financial assistance for the services. Thank you in advance for your kindness in this time of need .
