URGENT: We are raising money to pay for safer and accessible emergency accommodation for Hossam. Hossam is about to be made street homeless and we are raising emergency funds to support him with somewhere safe to live.

Hossam's Experience:

Hossam is someone in our community who was recently granted refugee status after fleeing LGBT+ persecution. He is about to be made homeless from the asylum accommodation and the only option that he has been given by the Housing Advice Centre is unsafe and unsuitable for someone who is an LBGT+ disabled refugee of colour.

Our aim:

On average, a private temporary space will cost just under £2000 per month, and we have no idea how long Hossam will be waiting to receive longer term housing. Our initial goal is to raise enough money for the first four to six months and during this time we will advocate to the council to support Hossam with appropriate accommodation.

Any money that is not used for this will be used to assist Hossam with any costs linked to this situation.
