Tucking Aurora In
On Sunday, we lost little Aurora in a tragic accident. She was with us for two and a half brief years, and our family has barely begun to grasp all that we’ve lost.
Aurora alternated between fuzz-haired despot and snuggle sprite. She was prone to waddling around in her diaper, chattering her many opinions. Her favorite words were “no,” “poop,” and “Mama.” She adored her big siblings, Ava, Akeala, Jahonna and Marshall. She and her brother Crew were each other’s shadows—inseparable and forevermore getting into trouble. We wondered at her impossibly small feet and were mesmerized by her big, blue eyes. Our hearts are broken.
Any help our friends could offer as we arrange the funeral would be appreciated. And please keep us in your prayers.
In addition to her siblings, Aurora is survived and adored by her parents, Elizabeth Auden and Chris Galloway; her aunt, Annie-Laurie Auden; her grandparents, Margaret Stubbs, Steven Auden, Carrie Anne Galloway, Michael Galloway; and her loyal dog, Paxton.
