Tucker’s Next Step

Tucker John Garypie is the strongest, happiest, most loving little boy you will meet...he melts your heart the instant you see him grinning up at you.  One would never know that Tucker has existed his entire little life with a condition that would leave him requiring major surgery for his omphalocele.   https://www.chop.edu/conditions-diseases/omphalocele This surgery, scheduled for Friday, June 26th, is the next step in a long process that has uprooted his family to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for countless checkups and a third extended stay. Though the hospital and it’s staff are more than accommodating, restrictions due to current times have created extra hurdles for Tucker’s family.  Only one parent can spend the night with their little guy, children’s play rooms have been closed, food and lodging is no where near as available as it once was and it isn’t safe to leave the hospital grounds in anything but a shuttle.
     Tucker’s strength and strong will are a direct result of his Mom and Dad believing in him from the instant they heard he might face some challenges.  Pete and Carrie had his little back from day one.  Now it’s time for us to come together and have their back.  To ease their minds and alleviate the stress about bills, jobs and what they are going to come home to after this long journey.  Every little bit helps.  If you don’t have anything monetary to give, please send prayers and love.
