Tuckers journey on recovery

Hello, my name is Ashley and I would like you to meet TUCKER. Tucker is 2 year old goldendoodle who is smart, loving, joyful, and loyal. He has a so much more life to live.

A little over a month this little boy accidentally ate some Chinese food. without anyone noticing. The next day he was brought to the vet with symptoms of vomiting. With multiple X-ray imaging he was sent home with a weeks supply of nausea medication. After the seven days of medication Tucker wasnt himself. He wasnt eating nor barely drinking and started vomiting again. This time it was a trip to the Emergency clinic.

Tucker was kept 2 nights in the Er where he did a complete panel of bloodwork, x-rays, an ultrasound and barium swallow "everything came back normal". Sent home again with nausea medication.

Another week goes by and as soon as Tucker gets off the nausea medication he starts with the vomiting followed by diarrhea. Now fast forward to 3 weeks into this nightmare Tucker would not eat or drink anything. We knew deep down inside something is wrong.

With the 2nd trip to the EMERGENCY CLINIC and multiple testing, the 2nd ultrasound it was found that Tucker had a 6inch teriyaki stick inside his stomach that has sat there for over a month. Not only was it MISSED but this has caused him to get very sick. He went in for Emergency surgery.

1 week later Tucker was doing better " we thought his healing was going great and he was holding down food well" We thought WRONG. A trip to the vet stated different.

He had 103 fevor and a lump found on the side if his chest wall cavity. The lump was a cyst filled with infected fluilds. We had to bring him back to the ER surgeon. With multiple testing they had to preform an extensive surgery on his chest cavity which made him lose protein fluids. Tucker had to have transfusions last night.

Currently Tucker is done with his 2nd surgery. He is very weak. We pray that he heals and gets better soon. This is a hard time for everyone. Whoever can donate even a dollar it's definitely appreciated and if you can't that's okay too just Please keep him in your prayers.

He has a LONG recovery ahead of him. I will keep each and every one of you updated as the days go on. He is currently in the ER and will remain there for several days. Currently he has a little over 10,000 with vet expenses so anything helps.
