Tucker's Hospital Bill Fund

If you don't already know my dad, Tucker, let me tell you about him. He's always been there for me.  From the time I was born people used to call us "book ends". For two years, he took care of my brother and me as a single dad, working three jobs.

In my 20's, during the most painful time of my life,  my husband lay dying from cancer and my dad appeared like a guardian angel. He sat at the foot of Phil's hospital bed,  loving and supporting me in my grief.

Tucker has fallen on hard times in the past several years. He had a shoulder injury that took nearly a year to heal.  He started losing strength and mobility in his hands which effected his ability to work since he makes his living in construction and building.  Most recently came the devastating news of cardiac disease. 

Somehow, he manages to stay optimistic through it all (which I think is a sign of his strength and perseverance).

Tucker is a giver. He loves people with his words, he nurtures people with his heart. People in his community know

him as the guy to ask when someone needs a helping hand. He will never turn down anyone who asks for his assistance.  

He gives and doesn't asks for anything in return. He's special to me and to everyone who knows him. He is loved by so many of you reading this, and maybe deserving by some of you who don't.

My hope for this fundraiser is to help my dad with these mounting medical bills. Your donation will ease his financial burden.
