We aren't sure when we can bring him home, since they are still unsure what is causing his liver failure, pain and other symptoms.
The tests, and treatments were estimated to cost us between $3000-$4000. That number has now climbed to $6000, as he needed plasma transfusions and much more than they expected. The amount is expected to rise from there, depending on the result of tomorrow's ultrasound, and for outpatient treatment
Due to his anxious nature, visiting Tucker during treatment seems to do more harm than good. When we visited him on Saturday his IV became detached because he was so excited to see us. This is devastating for us, as we want to be there to comfort him, and we miss him terribly.
Tucker is a part of our family. When Chelsea rescued him, he also rescued her. He has been the love of our lives for the past 3 years and we will do whatever it takes to bring him home, happy and healthy again, and we will need help to do this.
We would be so incredibly grateful for any help you can provide. We know this is a lot to ask, and it isn't easy for us to do so. We appreciate you taking the time to read about Tucker, and thank you for assisting us in this difficult time.
