Tucker sustained a serious neck injury while playing football on Friday, 9/19/2025. He underwent successful surgery on his C5 vertebra and is now in recovery. He’s already showing positive signs, including improved movement and feeling in his arms. He’ll remain in the ICU for monitoring, and his family is hopeful for continued progress, especially in his legs.
The outpouring of love from the community—friends, teammates, and school staff—has been nothing short of incredible. Even if they haven’t been able to respond to every message, please know that your support means the world to them. This family has shown us the true meaning of community, and now it’s our turn to stand by them.
We’re raising funds to help with medical expenses and additional support they’ll need in the coming weeks. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
Update 9/25/25
Today, we’re reminded of the power in small things.
We continue to see small wins. Progress is slow, but steady—Tucker is being challenged, and he’s rising to meet those challenges with strength and determination.
We also received confirmation that Tucker has been accepted into an intensive inpatient rehabilitation program. He’ll begin as soon as we’re cleared to leave the ICU. We’re hopeful that transition will happen on Thursday or Friday, and we’re eager for the next step forward.
Thank you for your continued encouragement, prayers, and support. We’ve been deeply moved by the love shown to us—from near and far. Our family has been outstanding too!
I’ll continue to share updates as things progress. The medical care has been excellent, and we’re praying for God to do what only He can—beyond what modern medicine can accomplish.
Zechariah 4:10 says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
