Tucker Made the Team!

Hey!

This is Tucker. Through my mom, of course.

I am beyond honored to say that

I MADE THE PROVINCIAL TEAM THIS YEAR!

I started playing tackle football one year ago for the most incredible organization. I have learned so much from my coaches and my passion for the game will not stop growing.

In January my mom signed me up to try my luck at making the provincial team. They run 5 or 6 day camps all over the province and pick players to attend a second camp to see if they will make the team.

Two weeks ago I was lucky to join a friend and attend a 3- day skills camp and evaluation to narrow the team down to the final 35 players.

And I made that cut.

The dilemma is this. The games take place in the States which means 3 trips back and forth for my family as well as registration fees, tournaments, possible hotels and other expenses. I would LOVE to fund this myself, but I am not legally old enough to work in Canada and the fundraising has not been set up yet for my age category.

Plus, we are on a time constraint, as the first session takes place less than 4 weeks from now.

Every little bit will help make this dream a reality for me. I am still incredibly elated that I made the cut and was chosen to represent the team.
