My mom lost her home in the SR Fire
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of October 9, 2017, I called my mom, Sally, to warn her of news of the approaching Tubbs fire in Santa Rosa. She and her partner, Dan, were able to escape with a bag of clothes and a few important documents.
I am hoping to collect enough money to help cover the cost of hotels/rent, food, and clothing while we try to find her a place to live. Having raised me as a single mother and business professional, I know she is too proud to ask for aid, but I want to do what I can to help her overcome this tragedy.
In addition to basic costs of living, I am hoping I can replace some of the items that she treasured, like her sewing machine or her camera. Any help would be welcome. If you cannot make a monetary contribution, then volunteering time or supplies to any of the local charities that are helping the North Bay to cope with the 2017 wildfire disaster would be greatly appreciated.
For anyone who doesn't know us: My name is Patrick Streeter. My mom, Sally, raised me in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Shortly after I moved to California, my mom and her partner Dan came to join us in Sonoma County. I will withdraw the funds from this campaign and 100% will go to my mom as a check to help her with cost of living expenses and rebuilding the life that she has grown accustomed to in Santa Rosa. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed; your support means the world to my family.
