Tuba Needed: Help Me Pursue My Passion for Music

My name is Tyler Shepard, and I have a passion for music that has been with me all my life. As a LGBTQ+ youth music has provided a safe haven for me like no other. Today, I am reaching out to you to share my exciting journey and seek your help as I embark on an incredible opportunity: attending the prestigious Boston Conservatory of Music in the fall as a tuba performance major.

A Musical Journey:

Music has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my early days of experimenting with different instruments to mastering the tuba, I have found solace, inspiration, and a true sense of purpose through music. Achievements and Leadership:

I have also been actively involved in leading the music mentorship program, a program to help accumulate underclassmen to the high intensity level of my high school music program. Within our high school's wind symphony and marching band, I have served as the tuba section leader, nurturing teamwork and musical excellence.

I was selected to be part of the esteemed Music for All Honor Band of America 2023, where I had the privilege of performing alongside incredibly talented musicians from across the country. Furthermore, I have been an active member of the San Marcos High School Conservatory, an acclaimed program known for its commitment to excellence.
