Our beautiful mother, Mrs. Sabira 'Abdullah, unexpectedly transitioned back to the Creator on Wednesday morning after a long and brave battle with respiratory illness and young-onset severe dementia. The respiratory illness resulted in repeated anoxic brain injuries, which in turn brought on the dementia. As a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher, tutor, nutritionist, mentor, and friend, Mrs. Abdullah profoundly impacted the lives of so many people and is greatly loved.  We are humbly asking for financial assistance so that we can finalize the arrangements to properly bury her and honor her life. Anything that you can do to help will be greatly appreciated.
