El Pueblo Unido is a movement focused on restoring communities damaged by natural disasters. We raise money, volunteer in effected areas, and document the whole process.

A month and a half after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake my yearly trip to visit friends and family is still looking be a volunteer effort to help the people in Canoa, Ecuador.
Homes, roads, bridges are still destroyed. 6 of Ecuador's provinces are still in a state of emergency including my province, Manabi. The Ecuadorian people are still sleeping in make-shift tent villages with no electricity and few doctors for the wounded.
As an Ecuadorian- American, I want to help my people no matter how far I am from my country. EVERY DONATION COUNTS FROM $1 -$100!
Contributions to this movement will provide short and long term necessities for people in Canoa, Ecuador.
Reconstrution materials and supplies such as power tools, nails, wooden planks, sacks of cement, bamboo, reinforced steel, work gloves, and non toxic dust masks will be purchased. Local people of Canoa will be employeed to do the labor as well! We will stimulate their economy!
Food, water, mosquito nets, toiletries, diapers, batteries, portable lamps, flashlights, cookware and whatever the people in makeshift tent villages need will be distrubted as aid.
