Help Keith Fight Cancer

Hello family, friends, and friends of friends! My name is Becky and my husband Keith has Stage 4 stomach cancer. Keith was first diagnosed in December 2020. In April of 2021, after several rounds of chemo and radiation he had his entire stomach removed with hopes of removing all of the cancer. He had emergency surgery in December 2021 because a tumor was obstructing his bowels. During this surgery, the surgeon found more than 100 tumors throughout his abdomen. His oncologist has given us the horrible news that people with this type of cancer usually only live 12 to 18 months. He will begin chemo again next week. We also are looking into clinical trials to give him a chance to stay with us longer. Throughout all his treatments Keith has continued to work. Unfortunately Keith will not be able to return to work this time. He has applied for disability but the process could take between 3 to 6 months to complete.

Keith and I met in third grade and have been best friends ever since. We got married when we were 19 and have been married for 25 years. Keith is the love of my life.

We adopted two beautiful children. Our daughter Lily was adopted from Guatemala. She is 14 years old. Our son Lucas was adopted from Arkansas and he will be 2 in February. Family means everything to us.

Keith is the kindest person you could ever meet. He would give anyone in need the shirt off of his back. He loves with all his heart. He has always been a hard worker and is struggling with the fact that he cannot provide for our family like he wants. Fighting cancer is stressful enough. He shouldn’t have to stress about anything else. I am asking for help for our family. While your donations won't cure his cancer, they will provide a much needed financial reprieve for us.
