On April 13th, Chad was involved in a serious UTV accident after chasing a bull that had gotten out. He was medflighted from the field, and is currently recovering at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. The accident left him with multiple broken bones, Including a broken back that he had to have emergency surgery on. Chad currently has no feeling below the waist. His doctors are uncertain if he will regain any feeling.
Chad will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time. His wife, Leah, will also have to miss a lot of work, so she can help with his care. In addition, they are facing numerous medical expenses, many changes to his home to make it accessible for his recovery, and any unexpected needs that may arise.
Chad is a community man and is the first person to lend a helping hand. He is just beginning the long road to recovery. As Chad's sister, and behalf of the rest of our family (both families), we are asking for your help. We all would be so appreciative of any support you can offer.
