Donation protected
Every year, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Texas Tech Chapter sets out on a mission to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact its community through the organization of various programs.
Some of these programs include outreach to our community to educate them on science, technology, engineering and mathematics(STEM); we also provide academic support and encouragement to minority engineers and STEM students on the Texas Tech campus through general study sessions, tutoring and mentoring. Another program which we have planned for the upcoming year is the start of a NSBE Junior chapter in the Lubbock community. Our initiative is to stimulate interest in STEM fields and encourage students in grades K-12 to attend college and pursue college degrees.
In order to carry out our mission, we rely on financial support. We implore that you consider making a donation to help fund the programs we have set up for this academic year.
