﷽

My name is Abdul-Rauf and I'm raising funds for a brother of mine Usmandulla, who is a maalam (Islamic teacher) in a school back in Ghana. The school isn’t in the greatest of conditions.

It is currently located on the second floor of a local mosque which was very run down. They began lessons there just two years ago without any proper plan, so they lack the financial backing needed to maintain or renovate the space.

The conditions are very difficult for the students:

• Lack of Furniture - On busy days, students have to sit on the floor or share a single book between three people.
•  Infrastructure - Many windows are broken, and the walls are in desperate need of repair.
• No Lighting - Because the building lacks electricity/lighting, classes have to end early in the winter months as soon as the sun begins to set.

While we aim to improve the current condition of the classrooms our long term goal is to purchase land and build a fully functioning school.

It is YOUR contribution that gets this huge project started. Currently, £1 is equal to roughly 14GHC, which means even a small contribution will go a very long way.

Also to mention, A small percentage of your support will also go towards Usmandulla’s Charity Learn Islam Foundation where he helps orphans and general people in need who are not able to provide for themselves.

Rest assured!!! Whatever you donate will go where it’s help is needed most. (If you would like your donation to be used in a specific area contact me)

What exactly your donations will go towards:

The School
Quran’s, Prayer Mats, (Tasbih) prayer beads, Abayas, sandals, (Wall) Paint, Lighting, Fans, Plot of land, Building materials

Learn Islam Foundation
Orphans, Widowed Women, Seasonal Food & Supplies distribution for homeless, Surgical care

Please remember our aid is NOT limited to Muslims alone but for anyone as far as our help can reach!
