Some of you know us. Many don’t. Some of you know Maria has lost her sight to an eye disease and are familiar with the financial burden of our medical struggles. 

I had to let our home owners insurance lapse at one point to make ends meet. 

On the morning of June 19, 2021, we were hit by a massive storm that ripped an old tree out by 
the roots and dropped it on our house with tree limbs stabbing through the house like swords.

The both of us barely escaped being killed. I had just gotten out of bed before it hit. Maria was in the bathroom when it hit. 

I honestly don’t know what to do next. Except I know we are going to need money.
