Saving Able

Saving Able is my story, a Pit Bull rescued by Beauties and Beasts from the Wichita Shelter, a survivor of the horrific practice of utilizing a "Bait Dog" to train a fighting dog. Abused and unable to defend myself, I was left for dead. smelled of decaying flesh and infection, the right side of my face ripped open, maggots in my wounds, gangrene in my leg and over 100 puncture wounds to my neck, face and leg, I did not die. I am a gentle soul, grateful to be alive and thankful to be safe.

I am Able. Able to Survive. Able to Love. Able to Forgive.
