Based in Washington, DC, Team Takeover is the nation's premier youth basketball organization, and we're the Team Takeover Girls 2022 National Team--a group of 12 dedicated, hard-working and determined young ladies! We are fundraising for our 2016 season, which includes 12 tournaments, culminating with a trip to the AAU Basketball National Championship in July in Clarksville, TN.
The AAU Basketball League is about much more than developing athletic prowess. The League teaches discipline, encourages healthy competition, and promotes academic excellence. Our girls work hard both on and off the court. Each one of them likes to compete on the highest level in all areas of life.
Our fundraising goal is $10,000, which will help cover the cost of the team's fees, practice facilities, tournament registration costs and travel expenses. We would greatly appreciate a small donation to help reach our target goal. Many of our girls have been playing for years, and have been successful in league and tournament play, both locally and nationally.
The girls have not only excelled on the basketball court, but they also excel in the classroom, as well. Our coaches and parents stress education, discipline and hard work in order to achieve success, both on and off the basketball court.
Please help us continue to provide valuable experiences and true life lessons for this group of fine young ladies. With your donation, we will move a little closer to our goal of winning the National Championship. We truly appreciate all donations no matter the size. No donation is too small.
