Dear family and friends,
I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of our beloved mother and wife Alma A Medellin. As many had known, our mom was on a weight loss journey to better her health and life. During one of her post operation surgeries, it led her into an unexpected infection that took her life on November 29th. My mom fought so hard till the very end . She was so proud and happy for her daughters and her husband, and her four legged grand fur baby. Also, she was a mentor and leader for her colleagues at HomeLife and her consumers. She will forever be missed and loved by those she came in contact with by both family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX 78239, on Wednesday December 6th at 4pm to 7pm.

We are absolutely devastated by Alma Medellin’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on quotes, we’ve received here is a breakdown of all the costs involved in a funeral service for our mom and wife Alma Medellin.
Basic service of funeral director/staff: $3,012 Preparation/embalming: $1,000
Transportation: $500 Dressing/casketing/cosmetology:$300 Facilities and staff: $300
Services at funeral home: $700
Rental casket: $1,000
Stationary: $200
Cremation fee: $400
Urn: $450
Death certificate: $40
We will need to pay all funeral costs by Tuesday December 5th .Please consider donating if you are able to do so. Any and all remaining funds will go towards paying the medical bills. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
