My name is Joseph Fernandez and I’m starting this fundraiser for my very close friends - Tray, Jackie and their newborn baby girl Lia Singletary who was born just 2 days ago. She was born at 6lbs 6oz and was getting ready to go home to meet her 4 siblings. They were waiting for final test results to then be discharged when they got told Lia’s oxygen was very low. She later was diagnosed with Interrupted aortic arch which is a rare heart condition when the aorta doesn’t completely form which is only seen in 2 cases per 100,000 live births. Lia had to be transported to a different hospital where she will undergo open heart surgery. Unfortunately, Tray has to take time off work so we are looking to raise money for this amazing family to help with additional childcare, food, travel expenses and necessary expenses for their 4 other children while their mother is the hospital for 4-6 weeks while her little one recovers.
