star needs surgery

Hi, I’m Aaliyah, Star and i have been inseparable since i was 14, now she’s 8. She’s sweet, timid, gentle, and always happy. Last month she was playing around with her neighbor pup and tore a tendon in her left hind leg, and was put on pain meds. When her pain meds were no longer working, Star's vet informed me her only two options were to be on pain meds for the rest of her life, or have surgery to fix the torn tendon. We don't know how many years Star has left with us, but I cannot bear the thought of her living in pain for however much time that is. If you are able, please help me cover the cost of her surgery.
