TTC for Mirela

My name is Mirela. I live in Serbia.

Since early childhood, I’ve been feeling the suffering of our world, wondering how could it be healed.

I was born in a country that disappeared due to the horrors of war. I experienced separation from my family, lived as a refugee, and became familiar with trauma.

I kept searching for many years, and when I was finally introduced to TM I felt like a newborn in a big family, i.e.  Maharishi’s Movement. It holds the magic I’ve been dreaming of my whole life.


I was initiated in TM almost 4 years ago, by a wonderful TM teacher who is my great inspiration, and since then, among other improvements in my life, my skills and talents have been inspired in new ways, creativity being released.

Though working in Belgrade as an opera singer, I live in the Global Country of World Peace, where I enjoy Heaven on Earth. I wish everyone could move to this wonderful country!

SO I am eager to become a TM teacher, to merge into Total Knowledge in order to spread it, to expand the Movement's arms to embrace the planet in a big hug, to contribute to reaching Maharishi’s vision/supreme goal of establishing permanent world peace and bliss for everyone!

[Ruth Chant is a member of an international organization creating peace through the world. Originally from Australia, she has lived in various countries such as the USA, Canada, Switzerland and Holland where she met Mirela who came to work on staff. Ruth had conducted research on how rapidly the TM technique relieves refugees' symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress: inability to sleep well, or think clearly, and sudden outbursts of anger and violence—which lead to refugees becoming undesirable citizens. Mirela had experienced first-hand the traumas of war in Yugoslavia, and has experienced complete relief from the TM technique. She desires to make it available to the many other people from her homeland who are still experiencing PTSD symptoms.

To become a TM teacher is beyond the financial reach of the people of her country, so it was decided to start a GoFundMe campaign to help her. About half the money raised will go towards the 5-month Teacher Training course fees, in whichever country the next course will be, (maybe Thailand) and the rest towards travel there: passports, visas, flights, vaccinations, insurance, etc. Ruth will transfer the money to the relevant organization (depending on the course location) providing the services, e.g. airline; or directly to Mirela for her local expenses.]
