My dear friend Robert (known by my kids as Uncle P) has been diagnosed with diabetes, possible lung cancer and is in need of bypass surgery for his heart. This has all come as a surprise and Robert will be in multiple doctors appointments leading up to surgery and procedures. Robert is the friend that is always there for those in need. In the aftermath of 911 he went to New York to help at the World Trade Center as a First Responder. We know this is a contributing factor in his current health diagnosis. While he would not ask for help, now is when he needs it and I am asking on his behalf. He lives very simply but will need help with insurance and utilities while he can’t work.
