Hi, my name is Jamie Panichi, and I’m the current Investigations Sergeant at the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office. I was trained by my predecessor, Retired Inv/Sgt Shane Holcomb; father of Alexander Holcomb — a young man who could really use our help right now.

Alexander is facing a critical challenge. He was recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time in his young life. This time, Lymphoma was located in his lungs. As Alexander’s parents Shane & Cynthia will be traveling to and from Dana Farber where Alexander will receive treatment, they will need to cover medical (co-pays) and travel expenses.

I believe it is important for us to come together and alleviate the burden & added stress on the Holcomb family while they both take time off from work to be with their son, therefore, every donation, big or small, makes a difference! Time is of the essence.
