My friend Lavone has lost everything!
her house is on fire as I type this. Her friend, and former foster daughter, is inside. We’re sitting in my Jeep trying to stay warm, praying they find her & her cats ok.
She lost her husband to a stroke earlier this year, and has no house insurance, as she needed to get a new roof first. This was something that John had planned to start on Thursday, the day after he passed.
The roof did get completed but the insurance company raised her rate and she was unable to come up with the money so
soon after getting the roof done.
She has lost everything, except her 3
dogs who are currently in the yard, she will need a place to live with them,
clothes and funds for living to help her
get back on her feet.
She is an amazing person, absolutely
solid, caring. The kind who would give
you the shirt off of her back and now it’s the only one she has.
