Tsunami Orphan's Fund and Tokyo Children's Home
Donation protected
I am Dan, a UK diplomat based in Tokyo, Japan. I am running the Tokyo marathon for two charities in Japan. The first raises money for children who lost one or both parents in the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. The second is a children's home for abused, orphaned or homeless children in Japan. Any money raised will go towards providing a better education for the children. I will add in links soon, hopefully with English translations!
I am hoping to raise £1000 to help these children. Surely a worthy cause? If not, you can donate simply to see the pain that running 42kms will cause me! Either way, the money will go to a good cause!
Thanking you in advance.
Dan
PS - all donations will be overseen and audited by a senior diplomat. That is meant to be reassuring, but might not come across that way!
