- Rider hit by distracted driver on the morning of March 13th on his way to work at 5:00 a.m. Gettrell was t-boned by a distracted driver, he has been hospitalized since with life changing injuries. He has had multiple surgeries, including amputation and will need more. Unable to work, and according to his surgeons and therapist Gettrell will not be able to return to work for at least a year.In need of assistance for household bills, medical supplies, and equipment, as well as prosthetics. He has no help from the state. Gettrell's Bike was totaled. He is In need of assistance. Still in hospital facing further amputation and months of therapy this will be a long road to recovery
