Jayme and Winston’s battle with Homelessness

** Updates for those that are new to the fundraiser: the money that has been generously donated since October has been used to cover hotel and storage fees through February 1st. Hi everyone,

My name is Jayme, I am 32, I am disabled/chronically ill, and as of November 2023 my dog and I lost our home.

Due to my disability I am unable to work, and have been on disability benefits since 2018. However SSI barely even covers medical expenses, debt repayments, personal items, care for my emotional support dog, and food. I run a small Etsy store that typically helps with some medical expenses, but I have had to cut way back on what I can produce and sell until I have a stable place to run it. So needless to say, paying standard rent is out of the question.

I honestly have absolutely no idea how I’m going to make it out of this. I’ve exhausted all resources and just keep hitting wall after wall. Which is what lead me to make this gofundme. My physical and mental health are extremely poor at this point, I’m hanging on my a thread. Simply put…I need help.
