We are raising funds to help Caleb Gomes, a former army veteran and refugee in Reading, bring his wife Tsitsi home to Zimbabwe after her passing this New Year.

Caleb cared for Tsitsi with unwavering love for eight years following her stroke. Repatriation costs are high, and he cannot do this alone.

Caleb’s heartfelt wish is to repatriate Tsitsi to Zimbabwe, so she can be laid to rest among her loved ones, close to her children and family. This final journey is an important act of dignity, love, and respect — but the financial cost is overwhelming.
