Hiiiii family, friends, even strangers!
Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hope you enjoyed your holidays with all your loved ones.
In case some of you don’t know me and are wondering what this is all about, my name is Tsion! I’m 21 years old and originally from the incredibly beautiful British Columbia, Canada but am currently living in the almost-beautiful-as-BC, Sydney Australia (haha) studying at Hillsong International Leadership College with a focus in Worship & Theology.
Moving here 2.5 years ago, I was certain I was going to move back to Vancouver (all my family and friends can testify to that) after completing my 2nd year of College but as it started coming closer to the end, I began having an un-easy feeling about going home and so I began to earnestly pray on if I should stay or not, and after 2 long and patient months, I felt the Lord say “Not time to leave just yet my Tsion"
These past two years have been some of the most challenging, confronting and rewarding years of my life. Insecurities are revealed, your pride continuously gets put down, and you discover so much about yourself that you didn’t even know existed. But you also gain esseintal tools for life, make incredible life long friendship and not only do you get to go deeper in knowing who God is, but knowing who God is in you.
Plans change but detours are good.. right? Some days I find that harder to agree with especially when my heart was set on going home but I know that theres a reason I’m meant to stay and am finally beginning to be okay with it.
So here I am, about to start my third and last year in Bible College with new expenses that are very much so a reality and asking for your generous help.
Each semester is $1925 x’s 2
Health care is $575
Student Visa $595
= Total of $5000 for the whole year but because GoFundMe takes 10% I would need $5500
The reason I am putting a GoFundMe page is to that you can be part of this amazing journey with me. If you feel lead in your heart to help me financially so that I can stay in Australia to finish my final year at Hillsong College , I would be beyond words GRATEFUL. And if you cant help finanacally, that is absolutely okay! But I do ask one thing, would you stand in prayer and believe with me that God is going to provide beyond my understanding? If you could, I would be ever so THANKFUL.
My heart is fully set on the Lord and I’ve seen him do this for me before and for so many other students at College and am confident he can do it again.
