Here in Gaza, where families face one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, even clean water, the most basic human need has become a fight for survival.

Today, I am pleading for your help to save a project that is keeping our community alive.

A Lifeline in the Middle of the Gaza Water Crisis

I live in Gaza City, where thousands of families are suffering due to the ongoing water shortage, electricity blackout, and lack of essential resources.

Amid these impossible conditions, our community came together to build a water well in Al-Shati (Beach) Refugee Camp, a well that now provides water to hundreds of families who have no other source.

This well is a symbol of hope.

A symbol of survival.

But without electricity and fuel, even hope can stop flowing.

Why This Water Well Needs Solar Energy Immediately

Fuel is nearly impossible to obtain.

Electricity is almost nonexistent.

And without power, the water pump cannot run.

That is why we are urgently trying to convert the well into a fully solar-powered water system, the only sustainable solution in the current situation.

Thanks to generosity and prayer, we have already purchased:

1. Solar Batteries – £1,600

Two deep-cycle batteries (£800 each) are needed to store solar energy so the pump can run at night and on cloudy days.

2. Solar Inverter – £650

A high-quality inverter is required to convert solar energy into stable power for the water pump.

3. Installation, Labor & Wiring – £500

This covers professional installation, electrical wiring, mounting hardware, safety switches, grounding, and full system testing.

4. Water System Improvements – £350

Including pipes, filters, valves, fittings, and minor repairs to ensure clean and safe water distribution.

5. Platform & Transfer Fees – £400

Covers GoFundMe fees and the added transfer costs required to deliver funds safely into Gaza.
