Hi my name is Diane, and my dog is Bodhi. We have had a very difficult year since last October when Social Security decided to stop my benefits completely.

After 30 years working to help families I am very familiar with resources in the community. I tried every resource known to myself and my social worker friends.

I finally got partial payments started again with social security when Bodhi got quite sick and my car needed an expensive repair.

I have borrowed money from family, friends, and sold as much as I can on Marketplace to try and keep us afloat.

I finally decided that a part time job is in order to make ends meet. Not easy to find when you are 70 years old, but I was able to find a minimum wage job. I am working at a big dog rescue.

We just need $300 to make it until my first paycheck comes. Any amount will help until the paychecks start coming in regularly.

I know that there are lots of places asking for donations with the war in Ukraine and wildfires in Hawaii.

Any help will be so so appreciated.
