Treatment Fund

For those who don’t know, my mother has recently been struggling with some health issues. It started in December with a diagnosis of pneumonia in her left lung. After receiving treatment she just wasn’t improving. Several weeks later she was admitted to the hospital with what we were told was a drug resistant strain of pneumonia. After being released in early January she ran into a new issue with a blood clot and pulmonary embolism. She was admitted back into the hospital and had several procedures done. One of which was a scope of her lungs as well as leg surgery to remove the 6 inch clot. She was released and followed up with the pulmonologist a few days later. There she learned the findings of the scope, lung cancer. She is trying to get in to MD Anderson in Houston, one of the top rated cancer treatment centers in the US. She lost her job due to the hospitalizations and they will need assistance with traveling fees as well as medical bills.
