I have a huge ask. Our beautiful Katie is facing a big road ahead. Katie's breast cancer has returned after 15 years. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and it has spread considerably. This all just came out a few weeks ago when she was at a regular dermatologist visit. Never ever in a million years did we think this was coming.

She has spent her entire life putting everyone before herself, weather it’s helping others, crafting special things for others, years of sewing for cancer patients, sewing masks during COVID, raising money, and supporting so many organizations like Make-A-Wish with her children. Now it's time to help her and show how much she is loved and appreciated.

There are huge medical bills for doctors, treatments and medications. Katie feels she needs to continue working to pay them, which she absolutely cannot do while sick. I've tried to help, but what we have ahead is something that we don't have the means for.

I've never written anything like this before. I shared with her how much she is loved by so many who would want to help. This is very hard to do and write, but I feel it is the best thing to do. Considering all she has done for others her whole life, I am hoping we can set up some support for the financial amounts that will be needed in her treatment. Many things are not going to be covered by insurance.

I would never be doing this unless we were truly in need. She is gearing up for the fight of her life, and no one should be unable to get best care due to finances.

Katie is a fighter and needs our help. She is strong and scared, but the money stress is something I am trying to take away from her.
