Amanda was an amazing nurse for many years and most recently became a nurse practitioner she helped so many people and brightened the lives of everyone around her. Amanda has been hospitalized since Monday. Unfortunately she is no longer responding to any treatment and after conducting brain activity testing she was declared brain dead per her wishes she will be donating her organs. Amanda was a bright and steady presence in even the hardest moments compassionate, deeply caring, and always ready with her quick humor that could lift an entire shift. In true Amanda fashion, her legacy of generosity continues through the Gift of Life organ donation. Though it comes as no surprise to any of us who knew her, it is still profoundly moving. Her final act of kindness will go on to save and transform the lives of others.This is a tough time for her family as they morn the lost of a wonderful person. Amanda was also a new mom to a beautiful baby girl. Please help her family in anyway you can to help with the financial burden after her sudden passing to help care for her daughter.
