Edgar Gertsch Family Fund

On December 29th, 2022, Edgar Gertsch passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness at the young age of 40. An irreplaceable void has been left as Edgar leaves behind his wife, Melissa, and their sweet 3-year-old son, Griffin. To know Melissa and Edgar is to know the definition of love. Anyone lucky enough to be in their world knows what a tight family unit they were and how fiercely they love their people.
We are all feeling helpless that we can’t take away the grief, but we can honor Edgar’s love for his family by doing what he did best – taking care of them. Melissa has an unimaginable road ahead navigating life without her person. The loss of Edgar's contribution to the family day-to-day will be devastating. We have set up a Go Fund Me account to help ease the financial burden so that Melissa can continue to give their Griffin the best life she can without his daddy. It is our hope and desire that the money we raise for them gives them time to grieve and heal.

Edgar and Melissa were just getting started on what was supposed to be a love story with at least fifty chapters, and we hope this money will help Melissa be able to continue to chase the dreams and future they wanted for their family.
Thank you so much for your love and support for the Gertsch Family. Please feel free to share this link with others who are asking for ways to help love this family through this devastating tragedy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Best Western in Wooster, OH on Saturday, January 7th from 4-7 PM with a prayer and brief message at 5 PM.
