Hi everyone, my name is carlinton, I’m from Westmoreland one of the many parishes destroyed by hurricane Mellisa in Jamaica . I’m starting this fundraiser to support the people in Jamaica who have been left devastated by Hurricane Melissa.

The hurricane has destroyed homes, schools, and businesses across the island — leaving many people homeless, hungry, and without basic necessities. Seeing the pain and struggle of families who have lost everything has inspired me to take action and do whatever I can to help.

I have close ties to Jamaica through family and friends I grew up with as child,and seeing my community struggle in a time like this is truly heartbreaking,and I’ve seen firsthand how badly people are suffering. Many are sleeping outdoors, unable to find food or clean water.

Every penny raised will go directly toward providing:

• Food and clean water for families in need

• Clothing and blankets for those who lost everything

• Temporary shelter supplies such as tents and tarps

• Essential items like hygiene kits and baby supplies

I’ll be working with local volunteers and community organizations in Jamaica to make sure the funds reach those most in need, as quickly and transparently as possible.
