Help ANASTASIIA FIGHT cancer

Anastasiia Skvarchynska and her family - father Andriy, mother Yuliia, and big brother Artur - moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on June 6th, 2022.

Parents wanted a better life and brighter future for their children.

Watching this family face all the challenges of making a new country their home has been truly INSPIRATIONAL.

Anastasiia's very first special friendships began in Pani Nadya's Grade 8 classroom at Bishop Filevich Bilingual School. After a year, Anastasiia graduated from Pani Nadya's class and looked forward to joining her new friends in Grade 9 at Bethlehem Catholic High School.

Anastasiia decided she would like to try a school a bit closer to home. She is presently a grade 10 student at Holy Cross School. Anastasiia works hard at school for good grades and has a goal of attending university one day.

January 2025 has brought some difficult news to this family. At the age of 15, Anastasiia has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma cancer. This is a serious battle that requires a long term treatment, Anastasiia and her family need POSITIVE SUPPORT. We need to wrap our arms around this family and help to alleviate any additional stresses.

Please let's lift this family up. Since the diagnosis, life has changed to focus on testing, procedures, doctoring and treatment plans.

Both parents are full time employed. Andriy works 7 days per week and takes all overtime he can, to afford all the expenses besides the hospital treatment. Yulia will take a leave from work to stay with Anastasiia and help her during the cancer fight.
