Now It’s Our Turn

Rene and Bobby Bell are two of the most compassionate and giving people in our community. We are lucky to call them our friends. On Sunday, November 11th, Bobby’s mother’s  home caught on fire. Nanny has had many heath issues over the years and lives in her own home on The Bell’s property-right next to their home-so they could take care of her. On Sunday, Rene was mowing the lawn and saw that Nanny’s house was on fire. Rene was home alone and she ran INTO the burning house and found Nanny in the kitchen. They think she was on fire when she fell to the ground-Rene pulled her out. By herself.
The home was a complete loss. Their sweet kitty was lost. Rene’s hair was burned while pulling Nanny out and her coat melted while she was wearing it. But she got Nanny out.
Nanny was sent to the burn unit in Portland via Lifeflight and has sustained 3rd degree or higher burns on over 10% of her body. She has a long recovery ahead of her.
Her family needs to be with her as often as possible-she gets confused and scared. We are hoping to help The Bell’s with some extra money for lodging and fuel while they’re in Portland with Nanny.

We’re also hoping that whatever money we raise will be enough to help them with the complete loss of Nanny’s house, Medical Bills, etc. 

These people are the best you’ll ever know. Selfless, hard working and incredibly kind, always helping others. It’s our turn to help them. Please help us contribute.
