Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I’m at a point where I truly need help.

For the last year, I have been doing everything I can to protect my son, provide stability for him, and make sure I am advocating for what is in his best interest. What should have been a process focused on a child’s well-being has instead become emotionally draining, financially overwhelming, and incredibly difficult to carry on my own.

Last year alone, I spent over $17,000 in legal fees trying to get through court and do what I believed was necessary for my son. I never imagined that only a short time later, I would be facing the possibility of having to go through this all over again.

As a mother, this has taken a huge toll on me. I work hard, I provide for my children, and I carry as much as I possibly can—but I have reached a point where I cannot do this by myself anymore. The cost of hiring an attorney again is simply more than I can afford, and I know how important it is to have proper legal representation in a matter this serious.

I am asking for help raising money to cover:

• Attorney retainer fees

• Ongoing legal representation

• Court and filing costs

• Legal document preparation and related expenses

More than anything, I am trying to make sure I have the ability to continue standing up for my son and protecting the stability, peace, and support that every child deserves.
