Trying to save my 1971 VW Super Beetle

Hi my name is Kimberly. I own a 1971 VW beetle named Buttercup, which I have been driving since I was 16, and is my first car! It has been my daily driver ever since I started driving, but the engine died on my 21st birthday. I am now trying to get it running again, and I’m doing all the repairs myself! I’m doing a partial engine rebuild, as well as replacing the transmission while the engine is out. I don’t want to see her go to the junk yard, or have to sell her! All your support will go to the parts I need to fix/replace! It’s a lot to take on, but I want to get my car on the road again. I still don’t know too much about cars, so I will be learning as I go.
