Hello, as some of you may know, my name is Mathew Uso, and I am currently in a neuro rehab care facility. My medical insurance will stop paying for me to be here in October, so I am scrambling to try and find some sort of housing so I don’t end up homeless right before winter hits. I have tried calling everywhere, the housing authority, non-profits, and nothing.

So, backstory as to why I’m in this facility to begin with. In October of 2023, I had a brain aneurysm, and 2 days after that, I had a stroke, so I must have been an incredibly shitty person in a previous life lol. I do get social security disability but it isn’t enough to help me find a place, and the housing authority said I could apply for section 8 but that they have a 2 year waiting list and I’ll be long frozen dead by that time
