Hello, My name is Anthony, I recent on June 16th I suffered a non-dominate stroke. This happens to me on June 16th, 2023. I was admitted to the hospital for 5 days. I had to resign from my current job due to my health issues. The stroke has left me paralyzed on the left side of my body. I had to spend my 37th. birthday in the hospital, but I was happy to be alive and be able to see my 37th birthday on June 18th. I am asking for any help or donation to help me get to my family in Florida so they can help. me recovery and take me to my physical therapy appts. I currently live in NYC in The Bronx. I have no family in NYC I live here alone. I am trying to get money for my mom and stepfather can drive up from Orlando to pick me up and drive back down so they can help me during my recovery process. I would appreciate any type of help to get me to my family. I've been unemployed since April and currently, I have filed for Unemployment but I have been denied and I am waiting for a fair hearing date to appeal the case. I also have filed for short-term disability benefits from the government social security administration but they told me it can take up to 90 dates to get a response from them. I am just asking for some help to cover the cost of their trip up to NYC and the return case of driving back down. I have a 6-month recovery ahead of me and I want to be back to 100 percent. I lived on my own in NYC for over 20 years. I am currently in school and also studying at Devry University to pursue a bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in human resources. Please any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for all the help! I am need of help to cover my medical bills and help pay for rent.
