Hi, I’m Makayla. I’m a stay-at-home mom to our baby, and my fiancé, Kam, has been struggling with serious health issues over the past few months. He’s been in and out of the hospital and just finished his medical leave, but things haven’t stabilized yet.

Because of everything that’s happened, Kam’s missed a lot of work, and now we’ve fallen behind on rent and bills. Our apartment just gave us an eviction notice to pay by the 17th, and we’re short due to circumstances to keep our place and cover moving costs that are coming up.

I’ve gone back and forth on posting this because it’s really hard to ask for help publicly. But at this point, I’m just trying to do everything I can for our little family and keep a roof over our baby’s head.
