We really need to keep a roof over our heads

As many of you know, jenna’s been sick for 22 months. She’s been unable to work or finish school (she’s still trying!) I’ve struggled as well, but am working a few jobs and trying to figure out how to make ends meet. We are 3 months behind on rent and about to be evicted, and have nowhere to go. Jenna typically receives financial aid to cover housing, and we were counting on that, but found out two weeks ago that this money would not be available to her, so we are about to be evicted/homeless. I’m trying to keep a roof over her head so that we can continue to seek the medical help she needs. This was an unanticipated hurdle in a year of huge hurdles. To be evicted/homeless now feels like cruel and unusual punishment, given that we are so close to end of this nightmare. We are in a pretty desperate situation now, or we would never resort to this. We don’t what else to do.
