Hello, first off my parents don’t know I’m doing this. They would never ask myself or anyone else to do such things. I am an active duty US Army Paratrooper stationed in North Carolina. My parents are back in Idaho where I grew up. My father is an Army Veteran as well and currently a self employed flooring installer and the main provider of their house hold. My mother is a part time employed assistant for a insurance agent with little abilities to do physical labor do to neuropathy in her hands and feet plus her diabetes, asthma, and the list goes on. My father is the hardest working man I know and sadly his body is taking the brute of his labor. With multiple knee surgeries, constant back pain, and now he has several tears in his shoulder which is requires surgery and roughly a 6 month recovery time. With him not being able to work for so long they will have to drain all their savings which isn’t much and my mom is hunting for any work she can do to get by. My parents are hard working and dedicated to helping others whenever they can. Even with this situation they’re letting my niece move in to there home rent free so she can continue college while her mother pursues a career in California. They’ve always done what they can to help anyone in need and all I’m trying to do is get them some help when they’re at an all time low. If I could drop everything I’m doing to be home with them and work to pay their bills I would sadly my service contract won’t allow it. With being said the $7500 goal is just to help pay their rent for 6 months. I honestly didn’t want to put a goal because simply anything will help. I just hope and pray that this can help them keep a float. Thank you.
