Hi, my name is Dylan.

For nearly two years, I lived under the control of my three half-brothers, enduring relentless physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. I was treated less than a human; I was worthless and I was completely at their mercy. If i didnt do what I was told I was beaten and twisted and pulled until I begged for mercy and then still would keep going just to remind me where my place was.

They tortured and killed my pets, electrocuted me with crude torture devices. Shot me with paintballs while forcing me to stand against a wall. I was once made to stand facing a corner all night while one of them slept and watched me. If i stepped away from the corner I was beaten. Forced me to sleep in inhumane conditions, like on the floor in the bathroom on a dirty dog bed. I wish thats where it ended but when they finally broke me the eldest of the three eventually groomed and molested me and threatened me and coerced me into silence. They removed my humanity. I was made to believe I had no voice, no worth, and no escape.

For years, I carried that pain in silence. I tried to move on, to build a life, and to pretend the past couldn’t reach me. But the trauma never truly went away. it followed me into adulthood in ways I couldn’t ignore.

Now, I’m finally ready to face what happened. I’m working toward healing and justice, not just for myself but to make sure the person responsible can never harm another child again.
