Our hearts are broken by the loss of our dear Josiah who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 22. For those who were blessed to have known our “Jo”, know that he had a pure heart and a smile that would light up the room.  Josiah endured many medical issues and challenges from early infanthood and was not expected to live to see adulthood.  However, Josiah was fighter, backed by the faith of God, and a family who loved him dearly. Josiah was a sweet and loving son, brother, nephew, and cousin who touched our hearts and blessed our lives in so many ways.   Our family would like to thank those of you that have reached out with your prayers and kind words, please know that your kindness and sentiment is much appreciated as we rely on each other for comfort during this difficult time.  

At this time arrangements have not been made for services for Josiah because our family wants to put him to rest at his home in California where his life can be celebrated and remembered amongst the family and friends who loved him the most.  As most of you can imagine, Josiah’s mother and family were simply not prepared for the cost of transporting Josiah back to California from Texas in addition to costs of for a funeral service and burial.  Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help, and our family kindly asks, if you are able to, to donate funds towards bringing Josiah home to his final resting place and to assist with the costs of the funeral service.
